Data consulting and Software development
If you are interested in coding and would like to learn, then I recommend that you try one or more of the projects below. They help develop some core concepts in web and software development like; API calls, event handling, and DOM manipulation. Enjoy!

Neural nets for Sperm Morphology Analysis
- Deep learning and CNN can be used to classify human sperm heads into distinct categories with 84% accuracy (some misclassification of the 4 classes occurs).
- Normal sperm can be predicted with Precision of 93%.

Fertility prediction (ANZARD data Machine learning study)
- Female patient age (age_f), number of eggs retrieved at OPU (n_eggs), and nth attempt at ART (ranky) had the strongest influence on clinical pregnancy outcomes.
- Clinic 1 may be a variable with a negative effect on clinical pregnancy outcomes.
- Clinic 4 may be a variable with a positive effect on clinical pregnancy outcomes.
- Overall model performance needs to be improved if implemented for commercial use. Improvements are unlikely to come from more data points but rather NEW variables.

Patient app timelapse integration
EmbryoView is an innovative application that links with the lab’s time-lapse incubator, enabling it to provide a seamless and personalized experience for patients undergoing embryo transfers. While the gynecologist performs the procedure, the app displays a video of the transferred embryo, offering patients a unique and intimate view of their embryo’s journey.
